Is it time to get a Macbook?

Damn you two............... :D

I will borrow the shop unit from my local shop if I can when I get my MB and then see how it fairs, I to would like to see the same colour on my desk, I hate clutter so the MB and a mighty mouse and perhaps a nice desk lamp will do me :)

Hmm, been keeping an eye on this thread and the comments - I'm very close to switching.
Only one PC game I still play, and at the moment I'm thinking of packing in PC gaming and just get a macbook and use my 360 more often, as im tired of spending endless amounts of money on new hardware etc and driver issues galore!

This is exactly why I am moving over, I'm forever buying bit's here and there and then I just don't use it enough (madness I know) ..........

I'm going to try and keep hold of my Dell 24" and shift the rest..

So you don't use the Dell 24"?

I have a Dell GX280 P4 1gb ram tucked away somewhere so I'm going to throw my 500gb Sata drive into that and then that will become my file server I think...

Any one know about convertx2dvd with Mac's though?

All I can see on the website is "Latest improvements, works on Vista"

EDIT: Also if I get Leopard from Apple and install it, won't applications (by default) will that give me? Being a Mac noob..

Right guys I got a second hand Macbook today, the 1.86ghz version in white, nearly perfect condition for £250 off of a family friend :)

Means I get to try and use it and see if it's the right move before I go for the newest model I suppose, question is that it only has 512mb RAM can I put a 2gb RAM upgrade in that can be purchased from OcUK?

Just putting a fresh copy of Leopard on it as we speak then I'll have to do the updates??

Yeah I know he could have got a lot more for it but he knew I was dieing to get hold of one :)

Quick picture, not that you guys haven't seen one before but :D
