Is it wrong not to like clubbing?

Clubbing has got a bit boring as of late, much prefer house parties and uni halls etc..

See I'd enjoy that, I've got plenty of music and my Z5500 is more than loud enough for a party in Uni halls, just no one wants to do partys in here :\, the only thing I'd be worried about is damage or theft by strangers, especially where the speakers and PC are concerned.

Just nights are boring, eventually in the day when I find my way around I've got my bicycle, I plan on doing loads of miles as thats my hobbie, but by night its really boring and everyone stays in there rooms, maybe out for half an hour to watch eastenders, its nice on the rare times we sit and drink in the kitchen :\.

I completely agree it sucks when your mates just hang around inside on their 'puters

in halls ? theyre probably thinking the exact same thing as you then , arrange to go out together or to atleast watch tv/dvds together etc. its not going to be any fun if you all just sit in your own rooms alone!

"Hey guys, you fancy coming to watch a movie? Was thinking about going to see xyz..."

It's not exactly difficult. :p

For me it completely depends on the music and the company. I can't stand it when I get back home after a Uni term and my friends arrange a night out clubbing - what's the point? Aren't we supposed to be catching up? How are we gonna do that in a club? On the other hand, when it's a bigger, less close-knit group of people then clubbing can be passable, especially if it's not the standard R'n'B rubbish.

Is there something wrong with me?

I dont like clubbing, does this make me a weird person? I'd rather go to a pub with friends and chill and drink and not go to a club and stand on a dance floor all night, I also dont like dancing.

Is it wrong?

I went to a club once, never bothered again in 20 years. Not my thing at all.
I could not bring myself to perform any kind of dancing, that is for gays and girls.

I'd say not, I dont like it.

Well, people in clubs don't dance...they wiggle or something...or drop over here...haha

Dancing, and 'Dancing' are two different thing's.

I can't dance, but I can skank and hack...Which isn't technically 'Dancing' :p

Anyway...I can't just dance to music, I have to like and enjoy the music to even start acknowledging it let alone even dance!

So true like 90% of club dancing is just a kind of on the spot march to the beat xD, or grinding both of which are as easy as ****.

You need to get a grip. It's not "right" or "wrong": just do what you want. If you don't feel like going clubbing, don't. Find some friends somewhere else, join a club or a society or something.
