Yes, he had special treatment for FIFA for the exact reason you stated and he had to have HGH to make sure he grew high enough to play professional as there is a rule on that.

However, there are some benefits to taking HGH such as improved core stability and strength and improved muscle growth. Funny how he is one of only a small sample of footballers who took this and he is playing so amazingly. Yes he does have a lot of skill but who's to say HGH didn't take him to the next level like Nitrous Oxide Systems takes cars to the next level in terms of speed?

This is why I regard Cristiano Ronaldo as the greatest. Yes Messi may be 100%% legit but to be perfectly honest, the doubt will always be there.
 
I think you are attributing super human characteristics to Messi when he is just ridiculously skilful. He bounces off players because he has amazing balance and a low centre of gravity and because he has such good control of the ball that it makes sense for him to stay on his feet. Lesser players go down because it gains them more than if they continue (usually off balance).

The HGH hasn't done anything more than make his height normal instead of a disability. He has not gained anything over a person who grew to that height naturally.

In a lot of sports there are phenomenal athletes who eclipse their peers entirely. They are usually genetically gifted but it has been show time and time again that natural talent is nothing compared to hard work. If you have both then you can become something special. That is all that Messi has done.
 
Messi has always been good from a very early age, if you watched the documentaries about him then you would know more about his condition. He was quite a ball greedy player in his younger days but then he had the gift to beat not 1 player but 3 and 4 and then score

Your sounding like one of them sour united fans who despise messi because he always shows you up

I know someone who get given steroids or whatever because he was to small.
it didn't make him superhuman or successful at sport
