Is my 1080 running too hot ??

:confused: Not checked if there Is warranty screws on the back plate

Also yeah I checked the fans listen to them ramp up :(

I read on Reddit last night that the reason it gets hot is the power? The power limit is at 100% and this post said to dial it back to 80% and it will still have the same power as other 1080 cards , is there any truth in this ? Just trying to make sure I check everything before I send it back , hate to send it back for them to say it's fine there's nothing wrong with it :(

So just got home and tried the above and its still getting to the same temps just took a little longer.. I have noticed that on ocuk it states the card of having 8000+mhz on the memory.. in afterburner I am only reaching 5000 at stock, could this be the issue ?
 
Not to sound stupid but is it actually hitting 100%, you can confirm this with rpm? All fans spinning?

Do any of the screws have warranty stickers on? If not I'd be tempted to take the cooler off and check TIM, cooler mounting etc.

If they do then pretty much time to RMA.

Warranty is void with zotac if u remove the cooler so dont do that.
