Is My Friend Mental? Or am I Wrong?

I think people like James discover their love for playing the devil's advocate.. Then do it so much they actually start believing in what they're saying. Because no rational person could come to the conclusion that the EU is just another manifestation of what Hitler was trying to achieve. I.. I.. don't even know where to begin.

I think the underlying issue is how badly educated he is. Semiliterate people are fertile ground for conspiracy "theories".
 
Well he's right in the fact that the people who make the laws aren't elected i.e. the European commission.
