Is pass plus worth it?

Its worth it, you usually go for a nice long drive, covering all types of roads, and more importantly Motorways, (although they aint difficult)

The IAM test is also worth it too, extra awareness, and far more observant after I did the course.

for me it was, cost me £80. saved me £200 off my insurance with direct line! 18, 0 ncb, only bin drivin for about 10 months. worth it? i'd say so.

but depends on your own circumstances. best to do a few quotes as has been said

I've been thinking about doing the IAM course, but I only passed about 6 months ago. Is it worth waiting a bit?

In my opinion do it now. I have just passed my test and i passed my DSA test 8 months ago. I started doing my IAM course after having passed for 5 months, i found it really useful. You become much more aware around you and i found it fun to do.

I have just done it, passed the other week, definitly do it. Makes you a much better driver. :)

It also makes you shuffle the wheel like a granny. :p

I'm definitely hoping to do the IAM's test this year.

While I don't class myself as a bad driver by any means, I know I can improve in quite a lot of areas... namely how not to panic in a confrontation.

In terms of insurance generally it's a winner

Pass plus apparently gets you the equivalent to a one years NCB discount. With companies that use the uki insurance format (BMW, Vauxhall, churchill, Direct line etc) you will have to telephone them to get that sorted though
