When I am trying to get the 64 bit OS running properly, I am restricting myself to only the one drive, or occasionaly, two drives.
When I run a 32 bit system, I run a total of 8 drives if I include the usb drives, and have no problems at all. 32 bit runs very fast and smooth.
My power supply is 500 watt. I have been debating whether to replace that with a larger one for some time.
I realise that a 32 bit system only utiles 3. something of the total 8 gig ram, and that a 64 bit utilises all or almost all of the 8gig ram.

I had a problem with memory a while ago. Sometimes mobo's don't give memory enough volts. Perhaps check the manufacturer's specs and take the memory volts off auto and set it manually. Plus, because you're using all your memory slots you may need to give the controller a bump (.01V or so). Could it be power issues generally - ie is your PSU up to it? You've a lot of kit in there.
