A lot of ISP's are starting to block rapidshare or the other round. I was completely blocked under pipex, now on bethere I can view it all fine.

I am on Pipex and use rapidshare a fair bit and have never been blocked

Never heard of that, I could understand some domains being blocked but not Rapidshare.

Many (VERY) illegal things end up on rapidshare. Kiddy pr0n for one. Terrorist stuff etc... it ends up on some major block lists.

Unfortunately, starting at 5 pm CET, one of our carriers experienced a severe technical problem with their hardware, causing a loss of 50 gigabit of bandwidth. Therefore RapidShare was unavailable for several hours. We already have taken steps to avoid this particular problem in the future.
