Is Rapidshare down?

Hmm, bit of googling suggests that my ISP (Talktalk) has blocked rapidshare, but I've just found a way round it

Surely they can't block your access to a site. What happens if you're actually a paid up member of Rapidshare, do Talktalk refund you?

I just checked and they changed it to 30GB saved up and 4GB back per day.

Download-Improvement for Premium-Users

July 21, 2008
Due to the significant number of new users who subscribed to Rapidshare during the last two weeks, we decided to extend our internal ressources. In order to maintain the best possible performance for all Premium users, we decided to limit the download capacity to 4 GB for each user during this transotional phase. Premium users will be able to save up to 30 GB of download capacity, if the daily 4 GB volume has not been used.

The limit is 50GB in five days with a paid account.

not any more

We support all kinds of connections. If you’re using a DSL-8.000 for example, you can save 100 megabyte from rapidshare.com within 100 seconds A premiumaccount enables you to download 4 Gigabyte per day, that’s4.000.000.000 byte. The volume not used is automatically transferred to the following day, up to a maximum of 30 gigabyte. If the complete download capacity is used up during one day, the premium-user is able to save another 4 gigabyte the following day.
