Is Rentaghost the best TV theme ever?

Tight pants, funky 60s music, tight pants, purple hair, UFOs, tight pants, some guy called Striker and er tight pants :p

Rentaghost *isn't* the best TV theme ever, although it is a great one. MrsS has her own personal connection to Rentaghost, even though it was before she was born. But that was long before I knew her, and so not my story to tell.

So, if we're on memorable theme songs from out yoots (to go all Vinny Gambini), here's Gentle Ben

But the one I'd really like to add as a classic from growing up (it's maybe debateable if I did) the BBC's The Box Of Delights
 
Have to big up Round the Twist, Magnum and Thundercats.

For me it has to be only fools. Not only an epic intro but also an epic outro. One from me that hasn't been posted yet.

 

Simple but very appropriate for the show.

Doesn't stick in your mind quite as much as Rentaghost though...
 
Alfonso Bonzo / Billy Webb's Amazing Story...

I didn't know till now that the actor who played Alfonso Bonzo is the same person who played Prince Edward in The Crown that I've just started watching :)
