Yes, they were connected. It was a trilogy consisting of Camberwick Green, Trumpton and Chigley.
 
Great song and theme to Fame, wasn't really a fan of the show sadly, but remember a lot of people really liked it and I always loved the theme song to it.
 
Yup as a boy I used to dance to Fame cringe...and After I had watched Thundercats I used to run around the flat with my sword of omens acting the full episode out again in my head, and yes I ran like a mad man doing the Cheetara scenes :P
 
I appreciate that this seems to be a kids show thread, however this is undoubtedly the king of intro vibes IMO.
