If you have an nVidia card then the game is completely playable with minimal popup (aside from some limited setups), AMD your mileage will likely vary.

TBH the game is easily worth £10 despite the low res textures and somewhat poor gameflow, theres a lot of fun stuff to do in the game and some really nice scenery in places, its just as a whole the game suffers a bit.

Not tried the MP personally.

Pop up looks as bad as each other so mileage will vary on both (aside from some limited setups) which is basically saying your mileage will likely vary.

Doesn't look like that 570 vid on any nVidia card I've tried on my phone atm so can't easily check but could be pre-rage drivers.

EDIT: looks like they are on the original RAGE drivers, mine are on the next set on from that.

The point is that it varies depending on the setup on both NV and AMD.
You cant keep using your personal experience as de facto for everyone.

Carmack has already stated he no longer sees the PC as the priority so Doom4 is obviously another multiplatform release which will no longer have the luxury of time as Zenimax own ID they will call all the shots ID will just be another developer to them & right now a tarnished one as RAGE underperformed massively.

Its such a shame really as ID really were a champion for the PC but it seems their priorities shifted one Zenimax bought the company so now they appear to be just another ex-PC developer who happen to make PC ports

Its a pity, Carmack should really know better, has he forgotten Blake Stone? >.>

I had issues with Rage on release, which i was not happy about as I was really looking forward to it, however I managed to soldier on and work through the issues. TBH even when you ignore the technical problems it isn't a very good game imo, I didn't even finish it, though I have seen it has just updated so I might try and finish it off now.

EDIT- Crash on start up, can't be bothered.

EDIT2- Managed to start the game this time, then it crashed as I was walking along!
