Is the Q9450 really in stock on the 10th?

dno who told you that lol, i just rang them up and they said they don't know when they're coming in
Until we either get confirmation of stock from staff or you get a shipped email, I would take any information on dates from here with a large pinch of salt.

i just pre ordered one, but im in no hurry tho, they should be in soon. Other competitors are saying the 19th, but they might get delayed.
Your paying about a £40 premium for something that not even instock

yeah lol ..... but i have a mobo sitting here that i want to use it with, so i want to be sure i'll get one and not have to wait any longer, but yeah i know what you mean.
But your not sure you will get one before other stores have stock to sell.
OcUK could get delayed and other stores could get theirs in stock before.

Everyone is being told different things.
Mine is a weird story I put down to them not wanting me to cancel my order...
4 weeks ago I put my order through for my complete rig totalling £2361 inc. tax and delivery.
Next day I ring up to confirm my order and make sure everything went through ok. I was told the only thing I was waiting on was the Q9450 which had a ETA of the 10th.
On the 11th I ring up and was told it should be in later that afternoon.
Nothing.
On the 12th I ring up and was going to cancel my order for the Q9450 and get a different CPU. I was told that now I was waiting for my monitor, and even if I cancelled the Q9450 my order would still not be delivered. Was told the Q9450 would be in on the 17th.
I was under the impression, that if you order, and you push an item out of stock by purchasing the last item, that item is yours, and should not be given to anyone else, considering you have paid for it...
I sent in a webnote yesterday on the 16th, and was told I'm only waiting on the CPU, and that they could not give me a date on when my rig would be delivered.
TBH, I dont know what to believe and If I didn't like OcUK I would cancel the whole thing and go somewhere else.
Its getting close though, any more hiccups and I'm gone.
agree there m8, why do they bother saying they're going to have it earlier than all other shops when they blatently won't. every time you ring them up they have a different story and delivery estimate

When we start getting reviews from the major sites is when we should expect them to be in stock shortly after. They have said "Q1 2008" which means last week of March more often than not
This happens every time new gear comes out, delays etc. occur and people get angry, although I agree that the different information from the staff is a bit annoying.

yeah... i guess the reason i pre ordered was because OCUK usually are always the first, but i suppose i should have just waited, but i guess it's no trouble to canceal it if OCUK take long to get them in stock, but hopefully that wont be the case.
