Is the Q9450 really in stock on the 10th?

I've just read this as well... Talk about bad service! How the hell can Intel release a product with next to no stock?? What are they playing at :-|

I'm well cheesed off right now, I've just spent close to £2,000 on a couple of machines with the belief that we'd only have to wait until the end of this month at the LATEST for the Q9450 to come into stock. If I keep my current pre-order, by the time all my parts arrive they'll be out of date and overly priced for the specs. >:-(

oh well... I guess I'll hold of for a while longer then. The new graphic cards are a bit rubbish aswell. And the memory that I want is also out of stock. It's just not a good time to buy.
 
Decided i'm sending mine back when i get it, bought it on impulse, think i will go for a new waterblock to satisfy me for now. :)
 
well mines arriving tomorrow, i don't plan on keeping it long, maybe a month or so, about as long as i kept my G0, tis just a new chip to play with from my point of view.
 
it's arrived...

and i'm not even sure i'm gonna keep it now, i impulse bought the thing cos i spotted someplace with stock ( now sold out ), then left it too late to cancel the damn order.
