I got the same 'order committed' thingy too. No money has come out of my account yet though. I wonder what that means.

Hehe, even Del Boy has off days

I ordered one at the special price, deal didn't work out. Life goes on

Boycotting the store/folk threatening to sue etc. is just a pretty childish reaction IMO

This hype surrounding this misprice was unreal and no doubt a lot of people will once again jump on the bandwagon again, this time in discontent

And all this for a non-existant 'saving' of a mere £25 of the RRP of a webcam, the majority of which would have probably ended up on the auction site for an overall profit of say ~£12

As I said, life goes on - there's a famous saying out there "too good to be true" and this is a prime example.

Personally I'm quite happy that I'm getting £5 off Crackdown

(my order is still sitting as order committed...)

And making stuff up is even more childish. Unless of course you would like to point out where anyone has threatened to sue anyone.

I can't use the boycott them because I dont ever use them. They are always over priced. I dont have a problem with them not honouring the price. Just a bit bad they sent all the other items out before telling people they wouldnt honour the deal.

There are quicker and cheaper games sellers out there for me to never have to worry about boycotting them.

I was just making a generalisation re the whole jumping on 'the discontent bandwagon'

However there's a 50+ page thread on a bargain hunter's forum which links to OcUK competitors with a few posts where a few numpties are keyboard bashing, threatening to get legal advice etc. based on a couple of checkout screenshots :D

their terms and conditions will cover eventualities like this..its like if they mispriced an xbox360 by putting a decimal point in the wrong place....people would just try to exploit it, and then email all their mates or post on a forum saying heres a bargain get it quick when its obviously been mispriced..it must have happned loads of times the the comapny will have a get out clause

just a quick scan of their terms on the website
