is there a way to change the language of windows xp?

a friend of mine recenly moved to finland and bought a pc with xp installed

problem is that a lot of things are in finnish including control pannel and windows update, is there a easy way to change everything to english? :confused:
 
Yes, in the Regional and Language settings in the Control Panel. Not sure if I could manage it in Finnish to English. Maybe get a native speaker to help out? :D

You may need the XP disk in there too, some files are not installed by default
 
Yeah, you might need the disk. If it's a new computer I'd reinstall it with English settings if you can't work out the menus.
 
thanks for the replies, it doesnt actually have a disk as it was bought 2nd hand just for web surfing :/

do you think a downloaded copy of the disk would work as its all activated? or would this require it to be activated again after with a new key
