Is there an affordable external HDD/SSD that is useful for playing games off of?

Just wondering because I have ran out of bays for internal HDDs now and would still require space. Simply upgrading an existing internal HDD is not an option i am afraid.

Buy an SSD and 2.5" USB3 caddy? Similar to above but don't pay the extra premium for putting two components together, easy enough yourself.

SSDs don't suffer from vibration, just use something to stick it in the case if you want.

Or just get any USB 3.0 external hard drive of the size you want. Probably something larger if you want more space and for it to last longer.
