Is there software for gmail for Windows 10?

I'm deciding to move away from windows mail because I don't always get notifications as they arrive, if there is a Gmail program/App is it reliable?

You can open Gmail in chrome and then goto the menu and save a shortcut as a desktop app.

It works OK, Gmail gets it own shortcuts and window when you open it then.

Thunderbird is alright if you like Mozilla stuff - not sure if they still maintain it though.

Was also going to mention Thunderbird. They are still working on it. The latest version came out on 1st July.

Ummm how does LiberOffice work for emails, The reason I came on here to ask was because I didn't know, so searching would have been no good.
