Is there such thing as a "Mazda Specialist" garage?

If it is not to far out you could try Young Motors in Ambleside. He is an independent but has a very good reputation working on Mazda's and specifically MPS's, there is a lot of recommendations for him on the various Mazda forums ;) Because of that he is quite busy, you'd definitely have to book in and expect a week or two for the appointment.

I've recently used him for service, M.O.T and some suspension work. He was by far the cheapest, gave excellent service and all the guys there were very helpful.

I dropped the car off in the morning then had a day in and around Ambleside and then picked the car up in the evening. Good day out and car sorted while I had fun ;)

The Injector seals are identical to Toyota ones, they're about a tenner a set :)

As for Mazda specialists, I believe sg perch and also you vs motors at ambleside know their way around d a Mazda. It's pretty much the place all the mps owners swear by.

Last I che ked your looking at September for anything major

Expensive service. Just had my third service and first MOT on my insignia. Service £146 MOT £27. At a Vauxhall dealer (Thurlow Nunn) 44k miles.

When you say Mazda Specialist does that just mean they will use Mazda parts?

apologies for the triple post, appears my phone did that.
Any mazda approved garage should be able ti update it.

Mazda parts are ridiculously priced over here in all honesty.
Thhey wanted in excess of 950 for a timing kit for the mps, which was had for less than 300 from the states.

Every single piece of the kit has mazda plastered all over it.. and Mazda UK refused to fit unlesst they supply the parts! so they know theyre official and genuine >.>
