my comp will crash and when i re-boot there is a disk missingi turn the pc off check the wires and there fine... turn it on and its there...? any ideas?
Is this a disk error?

If you have a spare psu or can borrow one swap it over as if the psu is on its last breath it will often fail to supply enough watts to run stable. When my last psu failed it almost fried my motherboard! If your cd/dvd drives also have problems reading discs it may point to lack of power.
