Is this a UFO?

Actually, OP, have you ****ed around with it, I can see some flickering/blinking effects when I watch the video sometimes. It took about four attempts for me to see it clearly and now it's gone back to flickering.

Perhaps it's my laptop...

It took me a few times but if you just watch where the clay thingy comes from you'll see it wizz across.

It's not on the left of the screen as the OP implies.

Watching on full screen helps.

It definitely enters from the left part of the frame but difficult to see as the movie is at full speed. Watch it in HD and full screen.

Absolutely nothing, I just uploaded it to YouTube.

It's just flickering now :( was nice seeing you, aliens! Take me hooooooooome!

Edit - it's back.

You can slow the video down even more on YT - have not seen this feature before!

Probably someone off screen to the left shooting at your clay or across it's flight-path, travelling too fast to be a clay/wadding.

Edit

After watching it a few times I'm wondering why you would video someone shooting and then have them framed all the way over to the very far right of the screen? I'm thinking this is some sort of 'Viral' video set up.

If you slow it down you can see that it enters at a tremendous speed then slows down quite quickly as it nears the clay pigeon. It must be something else that has been fired from a different place. Or it is genuinely aliens

You should share this, it could become quite popular!

Here's a piccy for everyone else that struggled (as I did):

The arrow is the direction of travel.

Missed chance... Gun in hand, could have killed em there and then.

You'll be sorry when they start with anal-probe and sucking you brain out through straw. I've seen the Interweb, these things happen.....

bird or plane, the thing he is shooting is going at a different angle and makes it appear as if time is going slower than it is when it slows nears its peak.

his (purposeful) slow mo exaggerates the effect.
