Is this cutting up? or am I in the wrong? *confused*

LOL tell that to 90% of drivers using the roundabout I posted earlier, including police cars turning right & indicating right in the left lane.

On an unmarked roundabout I'd use the right-hand lane to go straight on if the left one was queueing.

But if i'd have to squeeze in to make the exit I'd just go all the way around :)

Think it's similar to the OP's

Here, to go straight on (North from the south west direction), is it fine to go in the right hand lane, and then go on the inside lane on the roundabout, then getting to the little bit of 2nd lane on the road straight on with a small curved arrow painted on, and wait for a gap?

(I am saying going the red route.)

But with unmarked roundabouts, like the one above, the left lane is for people going left and straight over, the right hand lane is for people turning right and going back the way they came... IMHO the guy who cut you up is wrong.

yup

the problem with this method is that it can in itself cause congestion, as the merge lane is usually so small that is of no benefit

Heres another roundabout that most people have no idea how to use:
I use the right lane at point A to leave at point B, but 90% of people use the left lane at point A to leave at pont B + the exit after.
