Googled this and the results are not good, (assuming no photoshop is involved) every google answer points to a heavy duty disease of the retina.

must explain it then! just i never seen anything like this before and was pretty freaky when i saw it! :(
 
As said maybe she has a squint and only can focus with her good eye,my sister inlaw has the condition and the more she drinks the wider the squint
 
She has a glass eye.

An old mate of mine had a glass eye, and his looked exactly the same. The other clue apart from no red-eye, is the fact that the pupil is contracted. In a darkened environment (where these girls probably were), you'd expect both pupils to be fully dilated to allow more light into the eye (much like the aperture blades on a camera lens).
 
That's some freaky shiz! No idea why it happens - I never have red eye in my photos - yet some people have it all the time :eek:
