I thought red eye was because the light from the flash travels right to the back of the eye? Can anyone shed some light on the situation... *Giggles*...

I saw a bit in the paper about a mother who saw about the above on TV. She realised she had photos of her son where one of his eyes would be red (due to red eye) but the other white, she took him to the doctors who said if she had left it unchecked it would have been very nasty.

It doesnt look like she has 'white eye' it looks different to other photos ive seen where people do have the disease.
Maybe you should get the message passed onto her... maybe youll just get emberassed coz she really does have a glass eye.

I was thinking along the same lines. I remember reading something. OP - I suggest you tell your friend to go get it checked out.
