Is this out of order?

17 Year olds should know better, but some leniency must be given because they are just kids and sometimes get over excited.

At 2am I ripped my mattress off the bed and put it in my office and went to sleep.

There were 3 people in the tent who were over 18. They are not little kids, 10 years old.

There is going to be trouble tonight.

I think a simple chat between both parties and a sensible agreement as to when the kids needs to be quiet from would suffice.

At the end of the day it is not as if they are marauding around the streets, boozing and vandalising property.

Not all kids are scum.

They throw parties all the time, especially in this weather, until 2-3am but on the weekend. Not got a problem with that, i'm usually out with my mates or have had some beers here so i'm out cold. Tonight is a work night, I cannot believe their parents are allowing this.

It's not like I live on a council estate, it's a really decent area.

Time to pop round.
T

Jesus christ did you really just say that?

Clearly it isnt a decent area at all, you have little kids enjoying themselves in the summer months in the safety of their own garden (shock horror)

No one from a "council estate" as you put it has come on here to complain about their scumbag neighbour kids causing a din have they?

Decent area my ass!

How up tight must some of you lot be to get annoyed by this, roll over and go back to sleep, you'll live longer.

KaHn

Ok, it's midnight, i'm lying wide awake in bed and I have to be up in 5 and a half hours for work.

I went to bed at 10, to be woken up at 11 by next door. They have a tent up in the garden and the little kids and their friends are obviously kipping in it overnight. They are making a racket and i'm now starting to get annoyed. I don't want to go round, I have a short fuse when I am tired.
Is this out of order or am I being a 'part pooper'

anoying but as long as its a 1 off so what? if it were a regualr thing id get anoyed.. maybe even go mad and get out the axe... but as long as its a one off no one gets axed...

Depends though, if you have work really early in the morning and you end up with 3 hours sleep you wouldn't be happy.

lol@this thread.

I live in the middle of nowhere yet still the other night a bunch of kids decided to camp in the woods. The noise was irritating...

..but so what? **** happens, roll over and go to sleep.

There's a house down my road that constantly has loud music into the night, police cars visiting and people wandering around naked outside. I just stick my ipod in it's dock and fall asleep to my own music instead.

It happens. It's irritating, but no point letting it spoil your day. I doubt it was their intention. If you kick up a fuss you might only make it worse for yourself for any future backyard excursions they might plan as a result.

If they're shouting and screaming i'd go round and ask their parents to have a word, gotta teach kids you can't be making too much noise late at night, it's respect for your neighbours.

If it's a once off thing then get over it. Better you miss half a nights sleep than fall out with your neighbours over something stupid.

One day you'll want to have a party that finishes late and be glad you didn't say anything today.

No, you can bet if he says nothing then has a party late they will still come round and bitch anyway about how he's keeping thier kids up.

Sods law.
