Adaptec AAR-1220SA PCI-Express x1 2-Port SATA-II RAID Controller.

goner buy 2 wd 500 gig hard drives would they above card be good enough

mainly for games and file transfuring

thnx for any help i only have a pci or pci-e x1 slot on my mobo.

A PCIe 1x slot gives you 250Mb/s of bandwidth so there's plenty of capacity for a pair of decent HDDs. The card spec looks good and Adaptec have as good a reputation as you can get in the storage industry.
