Is this right what I am seeing for Raid1?

Sorry I new to raid!...... I have just installed 2 x 4TB hard drives into my raid 2 bay hard drive enclosure.. I have set it to raid1

I am seeing 2 hard drives once formatted. both are 1.99TB? each

I just thought with Raid1 I would only see 1 4TB hard drive and the other not showing being mirrored.

Simple answer, they are not in RAID

If they were you would see one 4TB volume in Windows if you used RAID1, 8TB in RAID0
