The WD is my Vista Os drive, is that why its so much less ?

im not an expert but i would say the fact it is the os drive has to have an effect? anyone confirm or am i talking betty swallocks

I've seen a few results and they seem to be around 71 MB/s on Average Write. Have you enabled Write Caching?

Looks fine to me, there are a few settings in the device manager that will improve speeds a tiny bit, but otherwise fine.

There's 1Mb/s difference in the sustained transfer rates, that's nothing to worry about.

I assume, however, you're looking at the difference in burst rates. Again nothing to worry about, you wouldn't notice a difference if the WD was bursting faster.

Where can I enable that ? - I may have seen it before, just dont know where
