Is this site ok to use for game keys???

I only use CDkeys. Not the best prices and not as much variety of stock, but they are more legit than the likes of G2A and their customer service is top notch.

I have used g2a a lot in the past but have stopped using them & wouldn't recommend them to anyone . the key sites I would recommend being cdkeys & instant gaming have used both of those multiple times without issue I also use gamers gate although not for a while.

what just happened with g2a and gearbox tells you all u need to know about them bunch of chancers

I bought a game on g2a a few years ago and I also bought there protected cover for the purchase, The code had already been used and after trying to ignore my e-mails I eventually got a refund 3 months later, And that was with there on the spot protection cover.

I tend to use Kinguin, GreenManGaming and sometimes CDKeys.

I had a £30 key not work on Kinguin but they got me a new key within 4 or 5 hours so I'm happy to use them, The only advice is always pay the extra pound or whatever it is to insure your purchase at the checkout. I think every key site offers it.

I have had purchases go fine with g2a and I've got some good bargains there but having experiencing what they're like when a purchase does go wrong I prefer to not take the chance.

I understand some of you have 'never had a problem' with them, but that's not really the point. You may have bought stolen goods from some dodgy geezer down the pub and 'never had a problem', but that doesn't make it right. I realise some people don't care about the moral issue as long as they save a few quid, but at least be aware..

For the guys who used G2A/Instant Gaming and others, did you really feel okay to send them your ID? Like a passport photo?

I know some sites ask for this when using them first time. I know Instant Gaming did few months ago. I NOPE'ed right out of that.

I use kinguin, ever since I bought a bad csgo key and they gave me a new one in 20mins of starting a live chat. They even waited to confirm it worked before ending the conversation. It didn't work so got another one and they refunded the money :).

never had to use a passport photo or any other kind of id and have only ever used paypal to pay for stuff from there also I was not aware the keys they are selling were stolen.

I have never been asked to send id if I was I wouldn't buy from there I have seen more than a few people say they have been asked though

Never had to any of that, I must have bought well over 50 keys from various sights, never had any problem either

They're grey importers, not scamsites. Imo they play a significant role in the market. Personally I would care if I was buying stolen goods from a moral point of view. Moral implications aside, using scamsites would also incur a risk to the consumer.

They asked me for a picture of my passport when I first tried to use them ages ago, but it was only for specific methods of payment. I chose a different method and didn't have to send any ID. Not sure if they still do that.

Stay away from G2A, most if not all the key sites are grey area but the one that seems to have a better rep with people is cdkeys.com

I wasn't talking about Instant Gaming, which I think is what you were replying to somebody about saying you had used fine. I was talking about G2A which is what the main thread is about, and which some people were saying they had used no problem. G2A most definitely is dodgy as ****, its a shame you're fine with buying stolen goods though (not that I'm saying you are in the case of Instant Gaming).

Would be nice to have a way of cheaper keys and being able to verify they're not stolen.

I hate paying steam prices but would prefer not to be buying keys that have been stolen from the devs.

they are scammers the last time I used them I was missled they showed the image and description of what I paid them for & gave me something else and its then when you have to contact them you get to see what they really are it took me about a month to resolve they hope that you will give up and go away IMO that amounts to fraud.
