Just reading this thread as an "outsider" to the conversation and no matter how you put it "substantial evidence" has not equalled "company shut down".
It therefore puts into question "substantial evidence" of what ? Can't be illegal activities or like they would-be-closed-down by the authorities. If "substantial evidence" has not been given to said authorities then this would suggest the You-Tubers are at faulty too ?

I'm guessing its not quite that simple, as they're not engaging in illegal activities themselves, simply facilitating it. I have no idea how the law works with things like this but I imagine its somewhat complicated.
Personally from what I have read/viewed it seems very clear that dodgy keys are sold on there. I guess some people would rather believe what they want to believe, or simply don't care, and if people are upset about being judged on that, good.
Depends on the country they operate in, law enforcement varies massively from one to another, additionally they may be liable for some keys being resold, but small independent game devs are unlikely to ever file against them.

There's plenty of examples and evidence in the thread, if you wish to willfully ignore them and tell people G2A are fine, I stand by my assumptions.

They're blatantly shady, you're blatantly supporting them. I don't see issue with my assumptions.
I'm pointing out that you should be listening a bit to what's said here. The amount of stuff painting them in a bad light just from this thread is pretty high. A further bit of investigation yourself would confirm they're absolutely dodgy as. You're either being willfully ignorant or are quite happy to support a cancerous retailer.
You can read all that as an attack if you wish. It's more my intention to ensure there's no-one buying from them ignorantly. Continued support would indicate you don't care about buying from a shady company so, I don't think it's an attack, more a statement of fact.
The amount spent in a good way, doesn't make any knowingly dodgy purchases any purer.
They could be true, I'm not denying that. But the company is still in business, therefore, not been found guilty with any concrete evidence that it's a bent company. I make my purchases by user reviews, usually through DLCompare, when it comes to G2A I only buy from sellers with good reviews, and with G2A trust enabled. I'm not saying G2A isn't crooked, but if it was selling stolen keys, it wouldn't be in business
I'll quit replying here as people seem to be taking it very personally. There's a decently sized mountain of stuff against them. There's plenty of examples of folks/organisations that are known to be crooked, but have little to pin on them so "well, they're still in business so all their obviously dodgy responses, shady practices and the various stories all over the place pointing out exactly where they're clearly supporting the selling of keys bought with stolen details don't matter" doesn't really wash. Support them if you wish but there's absolutely no doubt they're one of the most dodgy key-sellers in existence. There was a indie dev basically begging folks to pirate their game rather than buy it from G2A.

Had no idea about g2a. I bought 3 games off them all for about 30-50% off. I thought they mass bought games off steam when sales were on then sold those games for sale price plus a small amount all year round later. Also some second hand traders were on. I've never had an issue with them, but having read all this ,won't use them again.

meaning... people who can read? People who can put 2 words into google and click "search"? This stuff's not hidden, it's easier to find than praise for the site.
Because G2A are based in Hong Kong and the Chinese are not well known for respecting copy right claims and taking people to court for illegal downloads.
I can't remember if the one negative experience I've had when using a game key site involved this particular website or not, but I think it may well have been. Nothing sinister, just a poor quality, illegible key and pretty bad customer service. I haven't used them since.

I'm in the same boat as the above poster, aslco, that now knowing this information, I will not use them again.
We can argue all day about legalities etc, and I know i'll make no difference but it keeps me happy knowing that they wont get any more money from me.

G2A/Kinguin have been fine for the majority, normally it's a dodgy marketplace seller that causes problems.
G2A will still step in, even if you haven't bought G2A shield.
Same principle as eBay, if eBay sell stolen goods (which they do thousands times a day) should eBay be closed down for dodgy practices?
