Is this worth reporting?

Definitely report it if you have his registration. He won't get charged or anything but if the police visit him he may think twice next time. Plus, it's hardly taxing dropping into the police station on your way home. You've nothing to lose.

Yeah this is what I usually think in these situations. If the police get one report, then they may well not do much. But if there's two or three or four of you out there, then you know he'll get a visit. Report him.

Lol at the "you should have blah blah" comments.

Take it as a lesson. Don't pap your horn unless you are ready to back it up (or its to a friend) :)

Went to the police station on the way home. Guy behind the desk said there's nothing they can do, the guy will just deny it was him driving, and the best thing to do would have been to call 999 at the scene.

They weren't even interested in taking the reg. Ah well.

Tbh it's not going to affect when i do or dont use the horn. The guy was being a moron and i very narrowly avoided colliding with him.

Fair enough :) Ill look forward to your next thread on exactly the same topic caused by you papping at a big lad again ;)

Sorry! I misread the OP, i thought u didn't get any registrations at all and you were just going to go to a police station and say "a man in a silver jag threatened me!". lol if u had the reg number, reporting it was the right thing to do. Bit surprised the copper didn't log it down or anything

Do you accidently not bother to read things people type or do you do it deliberately? :)

My point in that thread was that people being brutally assaulted/murdered whilst driving is rare, not that idiots are rare. As can be seen from this case, although it didn't make the news, he didn't need an AK47 either.

Don't you have somebody to go and batter? ;)

:p

I generally do read things people type ;)

However, I was merely demonstrating that you are not the only one able to post sarcastic, inflammatory material from other fiesty threads for no other purpose other than to get a reaction :p :D

Hehe, there you go again :p

If you followed your own advice and read my posts in the other thread, I don't go around battering people and you'd know that I don't carry anything in my car that is explicitly a weapon, and furthermore the most aggressive thing in my cabin is a womans weekly or my sat nav cable :p

Anyways, enough OT-Turbo-Tripe™ for one day, I doubt the old bill will do anything in this case if you cant provide any independant witnesses and no damage was done to your car.

That's what I thought. A white van driver saw it all as he was sitting at a junction next to my car when it happened.

After it happened the driver of the van indicated to me that he had the same opinion of the jag driver as i did ;)

I considered stopping and getting his details as a witness but decided against it in the end. Maybe I should have.

Perhaps, but at the end of the day - no damage was done - live and let live, chalk it off to experience etc

At least you're not an angry little man in a jag :)

I've had someone hold the handle and pull on my it while I've been in town picking people up. The lights went green and I nailed it :D

Someone hurt their hand - ah shucks... Thank god for VAG anti hi-jack

I actually had a very similar case except the guy spat at me through a partially opened window luckily missing my face.

I reported him for what he did and because he called me a "black No Swearing!" it seems to be a racially aggrivated assault, even though race was the last thing on my mind.

He was arrested, interviewed and is now on bail as they require some more statements.

Why? If you were a fat guy and he'd have called you a fat *** would it have been a fat-motivated assault? Of course not, he probably just used the first lame insult that entered his small little mind.

Exactly, As I said I didn't even think about the race part, the police seemed to have sensationalised it into a race assault. Strange but that's how it seems to work:confused:

Locks the doors so they can't be opened from the outside when you start moving iirc. They don't unlock until you open the door from the inside.

Isn't that the same as a lot of door locks?

My Mondeo locks the doors when you drive off and they don't open till you open the door from the inside...
