Is your 20p coin worth £50?

Crud, I had one of these and gave it to KFC a while back... I thought it seemed strange with no date on it. Most expensive chicken strip meal i've had

On the upside, I have £70 in 20p coins...so hopefully one should be one of these

Guess what ive just found

. Yes thats correct a 20p coin with no date on either side. What should i do with the coin? put it on the bay or keep a hold of it?

On "The Bay" there going for around £200-£400

Any Ideas?

I would be tempted to hold on to it for a while.

Once the royal mint melts most of them down (the ones that were returned) surely it will be worth more.

I've heard that one went for 7k on ebay??? I'm debating weather or not keeping it. Do any of you think that it will go up in value?

i read that too but the winner probably didn't pay since they average around £200

my sister works in a bank and one of her friends there went though a few thousand pounds worth of 20p(£500 per bag) and didnt find 1 hahaha
