I couldn't believe it when I went to the Paris thread and it was closed less than 2 days after what happened as apparently there is nothing to talk about anymore, bizarre to say the least.
Wouldn't a better approach have been to tell posters to keep to the subject.

If everyone had made themselves a natty little hashtag and told everyone how sad they were, then it would have been fine.

Asking 'why' is of course just racist thinking because irresponsible people keep finding the same culture responsible, and such obvious bias makes Uncle Corbyn sad.

Where was the debate? The same old posters blaming the religion for everything? Well how about this. Why aren't Muslim armies (Saudi, Pakistan etc) leading wars of aggression against non-muslims? They're Muslim soldiers in professional armies. They follow the Quran. They pray, fast, believe in the 'Sky Pixie'. But wait! It's only the murderers and terrorists that are Muslim and represent the real Islam. All these other countries who actually have professional armies just don't know that the Quran apparently tells them to attack non-muslims.

I'm open to debate. I disagree with parts of the Quran. But same old nonsense doesn't get us anywhere.

Putting aside theological and ideological differences in regards to practising Islam there are many implications for instance in strict adherence many aspects of Sharia (which would enable those actions) are forbidden without the pre-requisite of khilafa even if a Muslim in those countries was inclined towards aggression against non-muslims.

I might not fully understand it but I can see right through a Muslim playing coy.

There is no 'real islam', it's just whatever one group interprets it as.
Contrast that with Christianity and there is broad agreement on what it means.

It took Christians >500 years to sort this out amongst themselves, but islam never even started/bothered.
They'd rather kill each other than talk.
(there was a slight blip with Ireland, but never mind)


Which is fine, until you start to live in Christian countries, which then have to bear the brunt of such a regressive culture.

I'm fully aware of the differences within Islam and I'm also well aware of the double standards etc many people use when arguing against Islam.

If Islam as a religion is responsible for terrorism then why aren't Muslim countries on the offensive? Don't even bother about the Calipha because I didn't see that being used in discussions around the actions of AQ and other groups. So far it's been about the Quran.

Issue with that video is that not one of the trucks is flying ISIS flags like the photo. And the photo itself is almost certainly a fake (the lighting on the helicopter is wrong when compared with the rest of the photo).

In all likelihood it is US backed Peshwerga troops.

Edit: In fact I would go as far as to say that helicopter is possibly even a Russian built Hind.

They still are, State sponsored terrorism is rife in the Middle East, Gadhafi sent weapons to Ireland, Saudi promotes Wahhabism all over Europe via schools and mosques, Qatar and Kuwait sponsor al-Nusra, Iran sponsors groups in Palestine and Iraq.

ISIS and Gadhafi were open about their desire to conquer Europe by the back door. Pakistan is constantly at daggers drawn with India.

There is no negotiation with tribal blood feud mentality.
