ISIL, ISIS, Daesh discussion thread.

How can this be allowed when many many people do not want it. Should this sort of nonsense not go to a public vote. RIP innocent Syrians.

I think it would be even more of a majority of it did go public. Plus no UK bombs have caused civilian casualties in Iraq according to the RAF guy that was just interviewed on the news.

We'll all be able to watch in amazement the video footage that gets released of £185,000 Brimstone missiles blowing up £500 'ISIS' Pick-Up trucks and Transit vans in the middle of nowhere with no-one around again.

I thought that's what we elected MP's for?

Plus why no concern for Iraqi civilians?

Yeh and why nearly every single one of my countries elected Government voted against it. kind of stupid when it means nothing when we get dragged in to it anyway.

That's the whole point of elections... We vote them in to make decisions for us.

In any case, the polls show a public vote would would have also called for air strike.

SNP would vote contrary to the government on anything - they are meaningless.
