ISP - Which service provider?

a lot of these bigger isp's are just simply giving out MAC codes that just dont work bcz they have put a cease on the line straight away after issuing the MAC code!

orly, hmmm, cos pipex said that in order to issue me a mac code, since my account is already under termination, they'd need to extend my service by a month - a so called "migration period".
I was just like whatever anyway, you cancel my service on the 16th, they said yes, I said no problem so it'll just be a fresh connection instead then, they said yes, I said no problem I'll give BE THERE a call and let em know the situation, they said theres a small matter of 18months service which hasnt yet been paid, I said your correct.

Samknows will tell you which ISPs have LLU on your exhange:

MEH, sam huh, apparently pipex isnt enabled on my exhange, luckly BE is lol, although, it could explain why i didnt always get amazing speeds through pipex? and maybe I should be able to expect some nice speeds from BE?

thats a handy site, I was looking for a exchange search the other week but couldnt find it.

also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BT_21CN littel bit interesting wiki reading.
