At home I'm on a dynamic IP with O2 and my IP hasn't changed for more than a year.Almost all UK providers use dynamic IPs unless you pay extra for a static or have some form of business account with them.

But most are fairly sticky due to the way they're allocated, it's not DHCP (despite cheap router manufacturers love of labelling it as such) and it works a bit differently. Basically, don't be shocked if you keep the same address for a while before it reallocates...
