It appears Obama has the same speech problems Bush does.

Fix'd, ******* off Russia is something we all want right? oh, thought not...

Edit: She didn't sell it on eBay though; she tried and failed three times because no one met the minimum bid of $2.5 million. The jet was actually sold through an aircraft broker to a private Alaska businessman at a loss of $600,000. So she lied about that, or at least embellished. And the taxpayers of Alaska take another wash at the hands of this woman. Fiscal conservative my ass! Not to go off-topic, but you are not fiscally conservative when you come into a job with NO debt and leave it with $22 million in debt for something that the town did NOT need, a sports complex that is in litigation for the past seven years over the land. Ridiculous, the whole thing is.

Sorry I meant her TOWN was 22million in the red. Thats a lot for a town with a sub 6000 population.

Got a source?

Well, she did pretty well in her state, stopping a multi-million dollar bridge to nowhere being built

You're believing too much of what you hear. Sarah Palin was originally a strong supporter of the Bridge to Nowhere. The funds were reallocated a year before Sarah Palin became governor, by Congress. Palin has turned this around to make it sound like she was instrumental in the decision.

I think his military record is something to be proud of and his conduct as a POW says a great deal about him as a person

It does. It shows that he was a distinguished soldier who served his country honourably and with pride. But nothing about that makes him any more qualified to be President!

I like John McCain as a person - I don't think it's in doubt that he loves America. It's his ability that I'm questioning.

Would you prefer a man who voted with George Bush 90% of the time in the last four years?
Would you prefer a man - a 72-year-old man - who has selected possibly the least experienced and suitable candidate ever to run for vice president?
Would you prefer a man who falls back on his POW years at every opportunity?
Would you prefer a man who thinks that God has any place in international politics?
Would you prefer a man who believes that the war in Iraq is succeeding and would keep thousands of troops in harm's way?
Would you prefer a man whose acceptance speech offered precious little in the way of policies, in contrast to that of Barack Obama? A man who keeps saying that he wants to change Washington, but has never said what he wants to change it from or to?

McCain / Palin would be a disaster for America.

And if we're pulling out random YouTube videos to justify ourselves, how about this one?

Well put.

Plus, those gaffes by Obama are nothing. You try speaking to thousands of people everyday without randomly coming out with incorrect facts. Loss of sleep etc it is bound to happen, kinda funny too.

Obama to win!

Obama/Biden would cripple American economy. Democrats are bad for American sovereignty.

I personally dont think McCain will be worse than Bush and I think his military record is something to br rpoud of and his conduct as a POW says a great deal about him as a person

Funny you say that, in my eyes it shows him as a poor pilot as he admitted he didnt study the theory well enough and had he, then he'd have not been shot down. Secondly, you need someone better than someone with good personality, this guy has to plough his way though what is an insurmountable task of restoring american pride in the world, american economy, american jobs, american everything.

You cant continue down the war path unless you wanna end up in direct confrontation with China AND Russia. At which point its game over.

Yeah he only forgot the amount of states and lied stupidly, not a big deal.

You'd be naive to think politicians dont lie. The CORE to their power comes from gathering it from people usually JUST as able to do the job as them, the second they stop lying you'll start thinking why you cant be president.

Yea,but when Bush does it, its just stupid. Everyone knows there are 50 states. there isnt anything even close to 57.

I dont think being tired caused him to forget that his relative never rescued prisoners in a prison Americans were never at.

His conduct as a POW? What the hell does that mean?

"This man was captured and locked up for years! He must be awesome!"

Well done on being short-sighted.

If anything, his being locked up retracts from WORLD experience, as I presume it was a quite sheltered experience.

Again. You try to do state after state after state talks with little sleep and repeating the same information. Gaffes are bound to happen. The state gaffe was nothing, though people did pickup on it and laugh :p

Not to mention knowing you're going to lose because of Racism and Ignorance.

Lets not forget Science... America will probably be rated a 2nd world country for education and science by the end of his potential term.

I have to say I have watched most of the TV stuff with interest (well as much as you can have not being an american) and frankly Obama seems a much better choice to me.. as far as I see it i would vote for any candidate that doesnt confuse politics with religion... less bible bashing president the better..

Nicely said. I really hope the Americans wake up and don't vote for McCain. That republican convention was embarrassing to watch, what with all the bible bashing Texans with their cowboy hats on shouting "U.S.A... U.S.A".

I'm sooo glad we're not like that.

What? Its not like he forgot what state he was in or what town, he forgot how many states their were. That stuff is taught in the first years of education. 50 states, where does 57 even come from?

If the Dems get into the big office we will be bending over for every country and organization out there. The EU will be running the US along with the UN, Russia and China. Obama is a 'Yes man' to the rest of the world. We might as well lube up well if he gets into office because we will be taking it up the rear for the next four years.

But your probably right, the rest of the world will love us!

Questioning his ability and then pointing at Obama instead doesn't really help your case. McCain at least has vast experience, a legacy of bipartisanship, is widely respected as a moderate republican. Obama has no record of achieving anything.

Obama also has a nasty ambiguous position on free trade, that is, nobody has a clue what his position is because he flirts from crowd pleasing but idiotic protectionism for the sake of his base. It's difficult to criticise McCain's relationship with religion and that side of his party and then defend Obama pandering to unions with ridiculous economics.

If I had a vote I'd have no idea who gets it right now. McCain probably wins for me on the grounds he has a long history of consistent policy and I think he has principles. Obama I don't really know what he believes in, which is impressive considering how many speeches he gives, I do know he seems inclined to populism though, which I consider to be a mark of stupidity.
