Indeed. And this is crucial.
A truly great driver, after a few races, will adapt to his equipment and be super competitive. I still find it strange that he is getting so comprehensively beaten by his team-mate.

Lets not forget that Vettel was great over many years and won even before joining RBR. Could it be bad form?

Not a dig at you but I've picked up on the fact that F1 presenters completely over use the words critical and crucial all the time. It has really began to grind on me, Brundle always says "yes Crofty and this is critical to the race now" in reference to any event that occurs lol

I just don't see and hope he doesn't go back to mclaren until he's had next year with mercedes. He suffered enough with mclaren cars, the only reason to go back from the best car on the grid would be for stupid amounts of money. He seems far hungrier for titles than money.

Thats the first time I have heard DC say he was signed to Mclaren while at Williams 2 years before he joined them
