Away from the weather and Whiting's ineptitude for a moment - why is there so much discussion about whether Alonso will/should stay/leave McLaren? There's nowhere else for him to go so he has no choice but to stay. Maybe the question should be more whether McLaren want him to stay or not - he costs a fortune and repeatedly disses them in public so why not just ditch him and be done with it?
