They get away with unsafe release all the time. It's a disgrace. Sooner or later, someone is going to get seriously injured in the pits.

That was a hell of a divebomb from Ricciardo...
Seriously, he's good under braking but he's got the best braking car with the most downforce. But a huge part of why he looks so good is people know he dive bombs, that means if you defend your line fairly you're very likely to take damage. There is a reason so many people get out of ricciardo's way. It's silly because if people defended more Ricciardo would be in 4-5 race ending crashes a season.... but so would the guys defending against him which is why they so often don't.
Gasly doesn't get out of the way and 'last of the great brakers' hits Gasly twice because he divebombs and ends up out of control.
Just irks me that if you get in enough incidents and divebomb enough you scare people into getting out of the way and then you start doing better, then people overestimate how good those moves are.

If they were going to pit, but then Kimi came in, they can keep the driver out and it's perfectly fine. Then he set a stunning lap so stayed out again. All perfectly fine.
It's if they had no intent of pitting, then that's not allowed.

People massively overstate how much it hurts your tires being in dirty air and Monza is a low abrasion track. If the tires at/under target temp there is no reason to give up time. Also HAmilton has the slower car, drs/slipstream might be the only thing keeping him there. In other words if he dropped off another second, that alone might cause him to lose a few tenths a lap on Kimi and let him get away.
