DRS being open at that speed, the car is effectively floating. Nasty.

Horrible crash. Not unlike Alonso's at Melbourne minus the initial contact. Glad he's out fine.

I've said before that DRS can be dangerous if it fails and is locked open.
Glad to see him walking away okay.
As they said, it's designed to fail closed, but it looked like it closed just after he'd got to 45° to track direction. So it was either badly programmed or slow to react or, just broken.

I do like a rain risk qualifying. The current format really allows for upsets when showers hit
