Your lucky you got the right card, i ordered a 8800GTX and got a GTS :eek:
And the invoice in the box is not mine :(

Anyhoo phoned up OcUK and they are getting the delivery bloke to pick this card up tomorrow and give me my GTX :D

there is an advantage to living so close to ocuk... the dissadvantage is it's too easy to pop in for something, can anyone hear my wallet emptying?

I'm worried about the same thing happening to me now :eek:

I can hear a new graphics card calling out to me. Gonna have to wait till the rest of my loan comes through else I'll be living off of asda value bread until jan 8th :p

Hmm Roll on the 8th of January think i'll be ordering myself a GTX or might hold out the R600 :confused:
 
I'm waiting for R600 also. I must admit I thought about switching back to nvidia but then I bought a macbook pro.
 
These cards are pretty quiet actually - I'm using the BFG model with the stock heatsink. Even under some load the fan isn't significant. I am still going to watercool it mind.
