FYI they dont come with crossfire cables (I'm sure everyone who already has one knows this etc). Need to pick one up separately.

Power comes straight out of the rear mate (2 of them), I can't remember the length though sry.

Even though the fan is on 55% all the time (auto can go higher but without afterburner it goes no lower)& I can't overclock mine I would have another one for CF if they were held at this price until payday :D

There is a whole thread on them in the gfx card section, have a looksie in there. I'm sure someone told me the length of the card in the previous "pre order" thread.
 
Will this deal happen again? I'm selling my card at the end of the month and would only be able to get it then.

Umm, no :p

These are the mighty crappers when it comes to overclocking and MSI has silly excuses regarding that. (such as that they just assemble the parts)

They're 10.5" in length iirc.


Anyone wondering yet - these cards are not reference PCBs and have certain issues with whining capacitors, voltage control not working properly, limited overclocking (can be fixed with Afterburner but have to deal with profiles in that case), limited voltage (lower than advertised), very poor overclocking capabilities compared to reference cards and the cooler stuck at 55% with fan on auto (will annoy you a few times, even with Afterburner). Apart from that they're quite decent cards :D

Seriously though, the cooler is bored even at very high core voltages.

Oh, and it comes with a game. Assassin's Creed 2 that is known for having the crappiest DRM system ever.

Hi,

I'm after a decent affordable DX11 GPU but it needs to be whisper quiet like the rest of my components.

Does anyone know if this card is quiet during intense gaming?
