I will be thinking of this!

What temp will I be getting at 4.80GHz if the room temp is around 24C with this watercooling set up ?

I dont know as we dont have a room with those exact conditions.

I would suggest temperatures to be in the region of 60'c-65'c depending on voltage.

the watercooling in the system is relatively basic and is more focussed at being an aesthetic addition.

here's a pic of the TUNDRA system we built up today :)

Could you put more detailed pics of it installed, im seriously tempted by this (and dont really have the inclination to build my own this time around).

I also would want to put my existing 6950 in there and go crossfire, what motherboard is in it and is it dual 16x?

That is a gorgeous looking machine, checking my cash balance now :)

there are more pictures above your post.

no 1155 motherboards do true 16X. but it has been proven many times that 8X+8X is no different. even using an nf200 chip to gain dual 16x its actually slower than native dual 8x.

the power supply can be changed for an alternative if you call our sales line.

for your dual 6950, i would suggest the corsair AX750w. this supply is essentially the same as the one in this system but black and with more pcie connectors. :)

hope that helps

Thanks, i just wanted to see a bit more detailed on the actual water cooling setup, is it a closed system? Is there a reservoir? (is that what the XSPC thing is?).

I have the 6950 HIS without the special cooler, would this run okay with the HIS 6950 thats in there? Could they be added to the water cooling loop? Im thinking of this and the Hazro so that I could get the benefit out of the dual gpu's.

the block is the supreme hf,
best block on the market bar none.

it is a closed loop that we install, it will require very little maintenance.

the xspc res at the front contains the pump which is more than powerful enough for a simple system like this.

the radiator is an EX120 which are XSPCs new high end radiator. more than a match for the cpu heat output.

and your card will work fine with the 6950 in the system. as i say though, it may be best to call and ask for the psu i suggested above as it has a bit more grunt for dual gpu computers.

the loop is designed to cool the cpu only, the case isn't big enough to accommodate dual gpu cooling as you would need at least a quad radiator.

all the fans and leds are on the cases built in fan controller
so the lights turn up and down with the fans, its pretty cool :)

the hazro would be an epic choice and the 6950s would definitely be up to the job of powering it.

that would be a really nice upgrade

Nice one thanks, i think you might well have a sale there! I looked at the cost of the components and it seems a good deal and takes the hassle out of it for me, one question though, do you think it would be okay at 5ghz?

possibly, but we only support warranty up to 4.8GHz. taking it further is done so at your own risk...

the motherboard is the fantastic Z68 UD5 by gigabyte

had this board in my system and it was superb. It supports SLI in the same way that most high end Z68 boards do :)

Cheers. Awesome looking system, have to say. Would it be possible to buy this without the HDD and if so, how much would be the saving?

Very nice looking case. Too late now but I thought of 'Ice Warrior' when I saw it. On one hand I think it sounds tacky, but on the other I still like something about my choice of name. :D
