Saw quite a few streamers playing that this year and saying it was really good, cant add it to the list though as its not on PC

I sold my PS5 this year before this released (first time I've not had a current gen PlayStation in my house since Christmas 1998!), I definitely mildly regretted it when this came out as I loved Astro's Playroom and it looks Mario Odyssey levels of brilliant, hopefully it will come to PC eventually... Or I'll just play it on PS5 when my willpower breaks at the GTAVI release when I end up with the inevitable PS5 Pro GTAVI bundle, despite promising myself to stay strong and patient!

No contest, Stalker 2! I havnt had a game draw me in so much in years. Its been a bit of a dull year release-wise. Which makes Stalker decision even easier. I love it, its something I've been missing since the original. Bugs and all!
The only 2024 release I've played this year is Tomb Raider I - III Remastered. Thoroughly enjoyed it so it gets my vote.
For me its been a poor year for PC games, but I'm happy plugging away at classics inbetween. Recently replayed Half Life 2, pure awesomeness!

If you like the classics and Half Life, I highly recommend Abiotic Factor, its got a really strong retro Half Life 1 feel about it and is pretty fun in co-op too

Stalker 2 for me.
Yes it's buggy and needs more patching, but considering what the devs have had to go through, including some of them losing their lives to the invading orcs, they can get all the slack in the universe from me.

I’m guessing I can’t claim 2.13 as being the “full release” of Cyberpunk 2077.
I’ve only played 2 2024 release games, Pacific Drive and Star Truckers and neither kept me wanting to play them after getting maybe 20% into Pacific Drive and 3 trips into Star Truckers.
So it’s a “Nothing” from me.

Nothing on PC, unfortunately.
I bounced off Pacific drive which is the only 2024 game I've purchased.
I played Ghost of Tsushima on PS5 a few years ago and it is brilliant though, not picked it up for PC yet.
My GOTY is Astrobot, but as mentioned its PS5 only. Pure fun.

For me it has to be Balatro. Simple, addictive, stealing more hours than I realised.
