Hmm, hadnt heard of that, not sure its my sort of game but its certainly got good reviews on Steam and theres a demo by the look of it, so will give it a try

Space Marine 2.

Honorable mention to The Finals but it came out last year and whilst it's still my go-to multiplayer shooter, Space Marine 2 completely hooked me from the moment it came out. Fantastic campaign, really fun multiplayer and a co-op experience that I'm still going back to now.

Another vote for Satisfactory.

The full release isn't too different to the EA version but such a fantastic game v1.0 was a great final level of polish. By far my most played game of 2024 and I only picked it up again after v1 released in September.

Haven’t played anything more than Helldivers 2 this year and it was very much a surprise game for me. It’s had its ups and downs, but few games have given me such a rush in a long time.

Stalker 2 takes me right back to its roots and playing as a teenager, so that’s my honourable mention.
