Its December, its annual YOUR Game of the Year time !

No Game/Nothing is doing very well again this year, historically if you look back over the past threads it always does do well, usually comes in the top 3 every year. Whether thats a statement on PC gaming for the last several years or just an indication of what a miserable bunch of so and so's we are, or a combination of both, I'll leave the viewer to decide :p

Can I say Horizon: Forbidden West? It was released on PC only this year.
Certainly can and early on in the year I actually thought it would be a contender for my GOTY but it got surpassed as the year went on. Always the danger with a title dropping so early in the year.

Is Delta Force allowed? Although called "Beta", it is essentially the full release, there will be no more resets/wipes and only the single player campaign is missing which comes out in January

Looking into it, I'd have to say not yet.

Q: When will Early Access drop?
The Global Open Beta (previously known as Early Access) starts on December 5th for PC

If the game makers themselves arent referring to it as a full release (instead referring to it as Early Access/Open Beta) then I have to assume that its not yet a "1.0" full release or I guess they would call it such themselves.

For me, at least, limited gaming time, a huge backlog and a constant slew of game giveaways & sales mean I don't need to buy new releases. So I'd only buy one if it was something I really wanted to play.

This year that was Manor Lords. Next year looks better though; KCD2, GTAVI, maybe Avowed, Shadows and (if it's out next year) probably Fable.

Perhaps Xbox studios or Ubisoft should add it to their portfolio since it's such a consistent performer ;)

Actually I think I should put down satisfactory over nothing because although I only got a couple of hours into it before the usual happened, I could tell it was bloody brilliant just from that.
