My car now goes 'vroom vroom' instead of 'parp parp' :D (Guessed it yet)

No pics or videos yet as I left my camera at home, but I'll get some up ASAP.

The difference is awesome. It feels like a completely different car! Power in every gear, as soon as you put your foot down.

The noise is hard to describe. It's so quiet.... even with what seems to be a sports cat. I used to have a thing for loud exhausts, since hearing my dads' 4" system on his car.

After putting up with my old blowing exhaust for a few months, I was sick of it and am so pleased with the new system.

On idle, it's just a lovely deep burble. Put your foot down, and it's very quiet yet very deep. Sounds fantastic :D

Many thanks to RiPz for fitting it for me!

Trust you two to reply first :p

Mark, having no computer at home now, my only chance to get pictures up is at work. As I was frantically trying to get the oil off the driveway this morning :o I forgot my camera :(

Will take the car out tonight to get some decent driveby footage.

It's still blowing a little bit at the joins... but nothing a bit of exhaust paste can't fix.

A knackerd exaust can cause that much power loss

Ill have to keep bugging mum to get a new one then.

You'd be very suprised Zip!

I had a hole, about the size of a 2p coin just after the cat. Cue no back pressure and thus, crap performance. My fuel economy didn't seem to suffer much though, which was weird.

I'll have to see how many miles I get now.

Next thing is to replace the nasty dirty cheap air filter with a K&N panel filter and the car should be breathing nicely.

Bodywork is also coming along. RiPz welded one of the sills yesterday. He was quite suprised how bad it was

Good man :)

Yep it can cause some power loss, i've only ever had a hole once int my saxo but i noticed when i went from a few bhp to even less!

Our car sounds like the whole thing is just going to blow completly off :p :o
But it also sounds so good and it first it sounds like it has a turbo
Shame it limits its performance so much, i was starting to wonder why it cant get over 120kph on a flat road.

OMG, I love this exhaust!

Just been out in the car to get some lunch and I can't help but smile when I drive it.

I feel like a little kid all over again :D

Yea it does :D but he just rags **** out of it and keeps his foot flat on the floor in 4th (5th doesn't have any power at any revs) and I've raced with him to about 100 (eventually)

Knackered exhausts do properly kill mpg I've found, you should see a decent improvement :) On the subject can anyone explain why it knackers mpg?

OT - Wow a Villa supporter, never knew they existed... :p
