It's snowing

First faint dusting of the Winter now. It'll lie as the air and ground is dry as heck after the last few days.

Nothing more than a dusting though, akin to the icing sugar on the top of a victoria sponge cake.

Blue skies again here in Peterculter now, but it does keep snowing on and off.
Started to clear some of the path earlier.

Can't see me taking the car out any time soon either.

You must be just slightly further north than us, we have barely any forecast. Looks like it warms up a bit on Tuesday, earlier than it was originally forecast, just enough to stop the snow :(
I'm on the border of Beds and Herts and the forecast actually changed for tonight. It's showing the stuff now, though it wasn't before.

First day back to work tomorrow... but I'm not sure if what's forecasted will be enough to stop me from driving in. I'll have to see in the morning I suppose.

if you dont feel safe then its enough. if you had a crash they would simply ask did you think it was safe to drive
there is not set amount

True. I am fortunate enough that I can work from home in my job, which I already do two days a week, just not Mondays.

Depends on if he is a doctor/ critical worker.
Not a critical worker. I'm a software developer, but it's about a 25 mile commute each way, so snow and especially ice could make that journey quite tricky/unsafe.

Kind of praying it doesn't snow over here this year as i would need to drive to/from work

I used to drive all the time in the snow years ago but i owned old crappy cheap cars back then and didn't really care if they got damaged.
These days i got a much more expensive car which i don't want to risk driving in the snow.

Had the most pathetic snow, that was actual snow, I've experienced in my whole life, left the lightest of dustings on the ground but annoying on the cars as it solidified as ice pebbledash style so clearing the cars coming out of work just now was a pain.

Roads fortunately pretty clear of anything though will probably ice up overnight.
