It's snowing

Nothing here near Bath, and yet loads of schools etc preemptively shut down for weather we aren’t even getting, pathetic.

Still going strong here. Up to 10cm now.

Windy.com has the snow until 6-7am. Going to have to get the dog to pull my daughter on the sledge I think.

There was some here in Huddersfield. My college class at 6PM last night got cancelled, snow didn't even start until after we would have finished!

Then, surprisingly my kids school have a delayed opening, when in my opinion it isn't even that bad. We've walked in ice previously because they wouldn't close school.

Derby here. It stopped snowing around 1am, or very very little was coming down. Its been raining since and the level of snow has gone down, probably 5-6cm now at best. Another 2 hours it will be slush. Got a text message from school, Closed. Thats 2 of my boys off today then and I bet the school literally next door to the closed one will be open for my youngest lad.

"Worst snow in decades" for the Midlands - though doesn't really have the same impact when it is a brief cold snap, and mostly piling in on the front of mild air, and not week(s) long deep freeze.
